Why do you support the Living Wage?

For our business the Living Wage is a given. All our staff are paid above the Living Wage, including our cleaner. It’s simply a matter of respect. We want our staff to feel good about themselves and their work.

BusinessHeads joined the Living Wage campaign because we believe that the minimum wage has lingered too long at a low level. Now we are out of recession we should increase this more rapidly to redress inequity. There would be savings on Tax Credit benefits and the true cost of employment would be passed to employers.
