Living Wage employers’ good news stories monthly round up

This month we’ve heard from our Living Wage employers on their good news, and at the Brighton & Hove Living Wage Campaign we love shouting about their award wins and milestones.

UnBarred Brewery celebrated their 3rd birthday with a beer trail which took them from the Good Companions, through some of the pubs of Brighton – ending in their taproom where they were joined by Herb Kitchen. Happy birthday to UnBarred, we look forward to seeing what you do next.

Kingsway Care, who are actively engaged with the campiagn and in the local community are finalists for three awards next month – they’ve made it to the finals of the highly coveted Gatwick Diamond Business Awards, which recognises outstanding organisations that have demonstrated exceptional achievements and innovative practices, all while making a positive impact on their clients, employees, and the community. They are also finalists for two Home Care Awards next month. Congratulations to Kingsway Care on being recognized for their ongoing work.

Gary Conroy and 5Squirrels team have celebrated their 9th birthday – which they did through singing karaoke and eating Chinese food at local restaurant, Gars. Congratulations 5Squirels, double digits are just around the corner!
