Why do you support the Living Wage?
The Living Wage is something that BrewDog are committed to on a nationwide level. It is a hugely important issue to me personally too. I've worked in hospitality for over 10 years and firmly believe that the only ways to recruit and keep the best workers on your team are to invest in their training and compensate them properly for their work. The sad reality is that most hospitality workers in Brighton receive little or no training beyond legal requirements and are paid minimum wage. In the long term this damages the businesses who employ under-trained, unmotivated staff. If you take the time to invest in staff training, make sure they stick around by paying them properly too.
