Nam Yang Brighton

We are a community based Martial Arts club with a specific social aim. We run classes for all people from all walks of life. Many of our members are disabled, suffering with mental health problems, refugees, asylum seekers, BAME members, students and emergency service staff. We also offer a sliding scale payment structure, so we are affordable to everyone especially those on low incomes or single parents. No body is turned away for financial reasons. We have been around Brighton since 1999 and run a full time Martial Art centre just off the Lewes Road in Brighton. We are also a not for profit club, where all our instructors are paid the minimum living wage or above.

Why do you support the Living Wage?

I don't know why people don't do this. It is criminal to not do this, especially when we live in Brighton and the cost of living is so incredibly high. We believe all businesses should be doing this and the government should be enforcing it.
I think the fact we have a dedicated company to research and promote shows just how much this needs to happen.
